CaspGeo is an engineering survey company working across Atyrau and the wider Caspian region. Since 2014 we have delivered geodetic, geological and geophysical surveys for oil and gas, construction and infrastructure clients.
Our story
CaspGeo started as a small field crew with two total stations and one survey vehicle. Our first projects were control networks and topographic plans for industrial sites in the Atyrau region. Word of our accuracy and reliability spread quickly, and within a few years we were running several crews in parallel.
Our mission
To earn and keep client trust through honest, accurate and on-time engineering survey work that meets the exact requirements of every project. Every data set becomes the basis for our clients' decisions, so we check each result before it leaves the office.

Our leadership team
Aigerim Sarsenova
Director of Engineering Surveys. Leads project planning and client relations, and has managed control-network and topographic programmes for more than 15 years.
Nurlan Zhakupov
Chief Geodesist. Responsible for measurement methods, data quality and the final review of every survey deliverable.
Dinara Kuanysheva
Head of the Geotechnical Laboratory. Oversees soil and groundwater testing, sample handling and the interpretation of results.
Yerlan Abdrakhmanov
Field Operations Manager. Plans crew schedules and equipment logistics, and keeps field work safe under our health and safety system.
Licences, standards and equipment
- Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems certified to ISO and ST RK standards (see the home page).
- Work is carried out under the licences required for geodetic and geological survey activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- GNSS receivers (RTK) and total stations for control networks and topographic surveys.
- Airborne laser scanner and survey drones for aerial photography and 3D terrain models.
- Cone penetration (CPT) and dynamic probing rigs, drilling rigs and an in-house soil laboratory.
